The Fire Councils Four Stage Approach

Australian Standard 1851 (AS1851)

Per AS1851 the following requirements are set into easily followable stages to ensure simplicity for you!

Fire Protection Equipment for Safety

Stage One: Inspection

The Fire Council's team executes the first stage by visually inspecting ALL fire protection systems and equipment. The visual inspection ensures that the fire safety equipment is in good condition and functioning correctly according to AS1851: Maintenance of Fire Protection Systems.

Stage Two: Testing

Within the second stage, The Fire Council's professional staff perform testing on fire protection equipment, involving the proper use of suitable test equipment to ensure the verification of the proper function of each system. Testing verifies the safety and efficacy of each system for the safety of our customers.

Stage Three: Maintenance

Within the third stage, our staff ensure that your fire protection systems are cleaned and serviced and the replacement of components deemed necessary. Ensuring that all systems are kept in good working order.

Stage Four: Record-Keeping

The Fire Council's staff keeps a record of all inspections, tests, and maintenance activities performed on every customer's site. This is to fulfil the annual condition report ensuring that a comprehensive history of each system is maintained throughout the set time.
